FAMILY ISSUES IN TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO
Newspaper Files

[N.B. This project is in process and all material is not yet available in a digital format]

This project was undertaken to provide the most current and local information on family related matters and issues to meet the information requirements of our users and as well to maximize access to the collection.

This project has been extracted from the Family Court Library Subject Vertical Files which comprise specialized materials unique to the Family Court clientele. The files may include, but are not limited to, newspaper articles, pamphlets, publications, special event programs, announcements, and other documents. The collection is a convenient, customer-tailored source of topical information about the Family Court and family based socio-related issues. New materials are added regularly. In addition, the Family Law Vertical File Collection that was housed in the Supreme Court Library has been re-assigned to the Family Court Library.

“Family Issues in Trinidad and Tobago – Newspaper Files” is also a sub-collection of the Unit’s larger special collection – The Caribbean Collection.

Collection Dates : 1978 - 2004 [From Supreme Court Library]; 2004-to present.
